Gender Data Matters!
Gender data helps to:
- Understand issues and social contexts associated with the female gender.
- Identify situations of gender inequity or imbalance.
- Provide relevant information for the development of public and private policies that support women and their gender-related issues.
- Contribute to a global movement of gender data collection and disaggregation aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for the 2030 Agenda.
